QLD GPS 2025

I just cant see TSS beating Nudgee this saturday, Levi slater is too powerful in the front for Kingsley Uys. Scored Prediction 25 - 7. Regarding the GT Churchie game, i think Churchie will come up on top. Scored prediction 21 -12.
Look, people have their opinions on teams but you've looked past this tss team there's a lot of chemistry there as many players have played first last year for the sharks, I think will be a good game but too much talk is going around Levi but I guess we will soon see. Hey.

For the Churchie GT game, Saia Poese has left which leaves a big hole in that midfield I don't know if GT can replace, we will soon see but Churchie have a lot of strike in their backline will be a good game, can someone give me the link to that thank you.

Hey all, been a minute since I have been on this forum, what are everyone's picks looking for the weekends fixtures? Some fantastic games lined up with Nudgee and TSS and GT vs Churchie. Should be a great day out with clear skies forecasted for Saturday.
-MM
Great to have you back on the forum MM, there are some great games this Saturday and will be interesting to see many teams for the first time in 2025.
For the TGS vs BBC i'm going BBC. To big, to strong, to fast, Toowoomba are also carrying a fair few injuries so therefore resting a number of players who would normally start, still a strong side though so will be a good game down at riverside. Interesting to see the battle for the TGS number 9 jersey with Jack brown starting this week, after playing firsts in grade 10 it was surprising to see him playing 2nds all through last year.

GT vs ACGS im going GT I think there key players such as Hales, Nasser, Hollyman, and Clifford will be too much for the young and undersized Churchie team. Similarly, to TGS they still have some star players playing (Bowman, Pritchard, Underwood) so will be a tight contest.

NC vs TSS I believe TSS will get the job done through their big ball carrier Kingsley, he is arguably the most destructive playing in the competition and I think he will show that tomorrow. It will be a good contest between him and Slater at scrum time. Although, with Nudgee college having some key players out I think TSS will get the job done, I will be watching there number 15 closely after an impressive reds campaign last year.

Shapes up to be a great day of GPS footy!

I see where you are coming from with the TSS strong chemistry, but I have to agree with AJ.RugbyExplorer on this one. As a proud Nudgee alumni even since my days, a very strong pre-season culture I think will be too much for TSS to handle. Coming off a win against Brisbane State High School I think they will take the win this week at River Oval.

my mistake, I have looked at the 2024 fixtures, now informed with injuries, I have been swayed to believe the Nudgee boys may be defeated this week.

T42,
I believe I was an original member when the 2024 GAG incident took place. I would sincerely regret to see the forum fall into tumult as it did. It displeases me all these terrace students infiltrating the forum, spreading lies, and corrupting what GAG rugby stands for. Members like this new guy Schmart footy, and other "Frank Rowers" might be GPS boys infiltrating. Go back to the books boys, and concentrate on raising your ATAR, while we can discuss real rugby.
On another note, I think @Schmartfooty360, that ACGS will be higher on the ladder, as I agree with QTT's point about their potential spine.
Cheers,
T.B
Cheers mate. Hope someone has your medal on the way. Save everyone else in here and stop spraying the forum you waterhose.

No medal needed mate, just hoping to keep the standard up. If you’ve got something worthwhile to add about the actual rugby, I’m all ears. Obviously your mouth might be bigger than your rugby knowledge. But I appreciate the sentiment. I'm just trying to keep the discussion grounded in what GAG rugby represents. If you're here for that too, then we’re on the same team. If not, there are plenty of other threads for banter.
Cheers,

Only thing big here mate is your ego. But at the end of the day, we are both here for some GPS footy chat, and happy to settle the differences. Still don't agree with your opinions on Churchie. Sources say their forward pack are unfit. They will break down and prove to be unreliable and the "talent" of the spine won't be enough to save them.

Honestly, Schmartfooty360, if you can’t contribute to this forum with a bit of basic respect, what’s the point of you being here?
This is a place for proper rugby discussion, not for constant disrespect, cheap shots, or one-line put-downs. If you’ve got nothing worthwhile to say, maybe it’s time to step away. We’re all here because we love the game, not to put up with nonsense.
Either start engaging properly or get off the forum. Simple as that.

Listen mate im not one to pull rank but im not letting a Frank Row tell me what is and isnt allowed on the forum. What gives you any authority on here? Don't get me wrong I am quite new to the forum myself and have all respect to elders of the forum such as blindside but i feel you have some issues. Also look at your lid mate, your 70+ years out of the GPS, god knows what your doing in here. before you catch a case i feel its best you depart champion.
Cheers.

First of all, Thank you Touch finder tom for backing me up; it is truly dissapointing to see the forum descending into turmult. Personal degradations have no place in this forum Schmartfooty. Your name indicates you play smart footy, however it seems you are not so "Schmart". Nevertheless, Your opinion on the ACGS foward pack remains valid. Their spine is strong, however Churchie have never had fast and fit fowards so they may be beaten across the long game. Lets keep this convo on footy,

Listen here, Schmartfooty360, I've been around long enough to know a half-baked lecture when I see one, and yours barely came out of the oven. You say you’re new, yet here you are swinging your opinions around like they carry weight. Let me tell you something, respect isn’t something you sprinkle in a sentence and hope it sticks. It’s earned, and your tone’s doing you no favors. As for my so-called "lid" and being “70+ out of the GPS”, I don’t need a bloody schoolboy badge to speak my mind. This forum isn’t a schoolyard, and I’m not here to impress teenagers with a keyboard and a chip on their shoulder. I’ve seen more substance in a wet Weet-Bix. So if you’re trying to run someone off with that weak jab at age, think again. I’ll leave when I damn well please, not because some fresh-faced forum jockey tells me to. Now pipe down and show some proper decorum.
Regards,
A forum member with actual mileage.

P.S. Can an admin take a squiz at this bloke and maybe show him the door before he hurts himself trying to sound clever?

G'day Tom,
Appreciate the level-headed reply, spot on, mate. It’s a shame when the banter spills into cheap shots instead of solid footy talk. You’re right: let’s get back to the game we’re all here for.

Highly agree here mate, Its about time the forum shifted back to good rugby discussions. A shame we have to call in admins for such a matter. On another note, has anyone heard about any standout performances from the 2nd XI - who do you think is knocking at the door for a firsts spot this year?

Apologies T.B., seems I've falling victim to mind games on the field here. I'll reload at 10 and strive to be better. As for my new mate touchy tom here, I know we have conflicting views and i think you're an absolute dud of a bloke but let's put this all behind us and keep it strictly on footy. Wouldn't want to waste your last years in a braindead argument so for that I apologize. I vow to keep on track with footy chat. Speaking of, I know its a week out, but any predictions on next weeks trials as they seem to be lining up for some cracker games??

I guess we will just have to wait and see tomorrow, and in terms of chemistry, Nudgee rise above all.
