Most of it would be QRU.Thanks HTC. I was assuming their other commitments would have meant limited time to see the whole comp. i know it is not rock, paper, scissors but question how many voices and different opinions have input.
That is a very, very strong Vikings pack. The back 5 of the forward pack are Super Rugby regulars. Arnold is a Wallaby. Staniforth isn't far off. Butler wouldn't look out of place either.
Most of the NRC sides will get destroyed by the Vikings. The forward strength is enough to mitigate a relatively inexperienced pair of halves and their 12.
How Sam green wasn't next in line is beyond me! He is a massive loss for qld rugby

There is something about Aussie rugby that loves so called "low risk" number 10s, due to their ability to stay true to structure and catch n shovel despite going backwards. Yet in actual fact, not having a 10 who is a threat with ball in hand, or someone who plays whats in front of them is a massive risk.
Greene had 3 full seasons of QPR behind him, had all the arsenal of skills, but was not preferred as he was 'X Factor' and didn't suit the philosophy.
Mason has been cherrypicked from league and does not have the experience yet. A few games for QLD 20s & a few for Aussie 20s won't prepare you for senior rugby. Give him a chance to grow and hone the full set of skills a 10 needs.
I think he can develop there is just not enough time under the belt. He is going to have to learn real quick because the Reds will no doubt throw him into Super next year.
Hello All I'm new to this. Have been around QLD rugby for a long time. This year watched many games of premier rugby and all the super 20s rugby. The young kid playing for Sunnybank was back up to Mason for the QLD u20 side ( why ). Great in Defence . Attacks the line. Massive boot on him. And is 19 years old. Watched him play for City. Tough kid yet no development behind him.
Jake (Jack?) Strauchan or something? Was one of the few high points for Brisbane city. Monster boot.
Mason was hardly "cherry picked" from league, he got picked up by the storm under 20s having played union at high school.
