This weekend I'm tipping.

Laurie's over Villa
Padua over Eddies
Marist over Iona
and
Pat's over Peters in a tight game.

Villa looked average on Saturday. They were lucky Marist bombed a few tries with drop ball. Laurie's way too strong.

Agreed their lineout was subpar, it looked as if the forwards didn't know their own calls, at points in the game they just stopped chasing kicks. The season for Villa could really ugly, really quickly.

Round 1 of the AIC season is the foundation for the future and unknown premiership winners, It is this game that prepares them for the unknown challenges ahead.

This Saturday the 3rd of May the draw includes:

Villa v Lauries (Lauries to win 21+)
Marist v Iona (Marist to win at home marginally by 7+)
Padua v Eddies (Padua to beat eddies by 25+ but eddies will score)
St Patricks v St Peters (St Patricks 14+)

Keen to watch Patrick Wilkins control the middle with his ball-playing skills. He really is gifted. Drew 'Wiggle' Wagner will most likely play in a playmaking position and is wizard on the footy pitch. ATC are the real deal this year, i can feel it in my toes.

Eddies were dreadful today, shocked to see just how poorly they performed, last time I watched this school they were competing for premierships (2011-2014), what has happened there? Padua certainly well coached and a level above the opposition.
