City had all the ball and position, yet couldn't score.

Such brain dead play, useless backline and forward cohesion. This was seriously like watching the Reds. Pathetic.

They didn't really have possession in the first half because they persisted in kicking without strategy or executing kicks poorly. When they had possession they couldn't capitalize because their forwards appeared to be working as independent people instead of a single minded unit.

So freaking disappointing.

Again, Brandon was frustrating to watch. Better off at least trying Tuttle in 10 or even Ant, he distributed better than Brandon did.

Combine the QLD Country Forwards with the Brisbane City back line and you would have a good team.. Ironic that the team with the best forwards is coached by the backs coach, and the team with the better backs is coached by the forwards coach.

What's worrying is the backs coach has control of Country, yet their backplay looks pretty horrible. 9 and 10 are a mess for them, either too much kicking or predictably shoveling it on.
