I could see him and Du Plessis enjoying a Latte on any given early Sunday morning

:baxter: Here's a vid of Le Fuse going through the Tahs pre-season stuff that was done yesterday. Whatever you think of his playing style/ability he certainly seems like a genuinely nice bloke. Also in this vid is possibly the first ever recording of Phil Waugh smiling!!!

Robbie Horne is in that vid a couple of times, no strapping or signs of work on the elbow though. Has he had surgery yet?

Al says on his blog at the link above that it was done a couple of months ago and that Horne looks on track to play most of the super season.

Giving a bottle to TC? Yes. He's in it in another part doing something in the gym too...

I can't really see any reason they'd make that up. Given his run of injuries I'm sure they want to make sure he's at about 600% before he runs back out onto the field. Another bad injury at this stage of his career could be disastrous.

Perhaps they've got something big in store for him, in terms of a different S&C/Fitness regime that requires some surgery? Tidy up sort of stuff.

Is that a smile? Looked like he was in pain.

their 'speed work' is really quite slow.

It appears the footage we were provided was focusing on resistance to be build power and form. Both are actually quite important to build greater speed. Its not all flat out, high speed stuff. Though they would be doing that aswell.

Crikey - I'm just reminded of what a huge athletic looking guy Timani is. I wonder if he can ever be turned into a good footie player?

I've heard from a couple of the tahs boys that he's the one to avoid in opposed contact work as well.
