Just announced, the Wallabies will by flying North this year after all for a one-off test match against Wales at Millenium Stadium, Dec 3.

Not sure if this is the first time this has occurred. Apparently, primarily organised due to financial issues the Welsh are having because of the lack of inbound tests this year. Personally I think there are one of two outcomes likely:
a) Wales or the Wallabies perform very well at the WC, which turns it into huge drawcard game
b) Neither make the WC final and so in post-world cup blues no one shows up.

Thoughts?

Seems a bit pointless, but from a financial perspective, the Welsh probably need it. That being said I wouldn't be suprised if we sent over alot of 'fringe' or 'rookie' players.

If Wales recent form is anything to go by, they will push us in the Quarters in Wellington.

And a repeat match against the newly crowned World Champion Wallabies will attract a decent crowd.

Wouldn't be surprised if we see more of these announcements soon.

Wallabies already have a confirmed game against the Barbarians on November 26, so now they have Wales the following week. Surely they will be able to get one more game to make it a legit tour.
