I think we may have slowed the internet in Queensland for a while there

Bring on the NBN?

Truth be told, I selected the wrong PC from the rack. was maxing out the CPU a bit. Have learnt from it...

Those who listened live, can you give a little feedback as to the sound quality, levels, etc. Just so we can refine it if necessary.

I listened to it live after i finished and it was fine from there on in. There was the first problem which was the feed from me ad the inconveniently timed unresponsiveness of the computer, then it started sort of gaggling for a bit, for example, II ththininkk ththaaaatttt ththisis shshououldld ststopop. After that it was fine seemingly.

Was my first go at listening live, guys + Good to hear some robust rugby chat. Liked the Jimmy Cowan stuff, merchandising gold!

Some of the voices suffered 'stroke' attacks in the middle of the podcast, as you heard yourselves, - need that hardware fully dosed up on aspirin!

The sound quality at the start seemed okay. Level was fairly high for me - I needed to drop the volume control on your live web page down to 3 bars, and the speaker volume on my notebook down to minimum to listen in on headphones.

Only other suggestions I have is maybe have a link on the front blog page to the 'live' site, and perhaps include some instructions (and the kickoff time each week) on what the listeners need to do to access the comments log. Saw some old chat room stuff there but that was it.

Shiggins,

As discussed in the podcast, the Force have the bye this weekend. And yes they will receive 4 points.

We're getting close to ironing out the technical hitches, maybe one more week then we'll be able to run to a schedule.

We realised this week that too many people in a Skype conversation causes Netbook processors to go nuts

Mr Timms is editing this show into a podcast, it'll go up on iTunes when he has a chance to finish the edit.

OH, and thanks for the feedback. We will do some more testing and be better for it next week. We might even give some notice when we are recording...

An outstanding effort guys notwithstanding a few audio glitches.

It's hard to say who is the driving force behind this and who had the most important role but I dips my lid to all concerned. Particular kudos should go to Gagger the moderator of the show. That must be difficult to do, but Gaggs you do it to the manor born.

Some may not like the fruity language, but every now and then you would get the same thing talking to your mates at the pub about rugby and that's the type of show it should be.

Sometimes I didn't know who was talking; so saying "Wazza here .." or something like that before making remarks may be of interest, though fair enough if other folks reckon it doesn't matter. [It wouldn't be needed in the case where Gagger or somebody else asked a direct question to Wazza and mentioned his name.]

Again: a great effort. It's the first time I have listened to it and I don't really know why that is. Maybe I haven't been "sold" on it though I don't know how you would do that apart from putting a thread in as happened this time.

Incidentally, I find that I don't click on the Blog button as much as I should as I go straight to the forum. Maybe a new blog post should automatically announce itself in a thread, or by a single post in all threads on the first page of the forum. Ditto for a new podcast.

Thanks Lee - kind words. You should hear Reg, I reckon he was a talk show host in a previous life.

We've debated for a long time what we do about the link between the front page and the forum. Ideally we'd like people to visit both so that we share the love. Maybe we could do an RSS feed to the forum (alerting when there's a new blog post) where comments can only be left on the blog, not after the RSS feed.

Can we have 10 buy's?

As for the show , I really enjoy it and allot more than that irb show that probably should be called total northern hemisphere rugby.

Good work and keep it up.

Go the force!!!!

I think we had one too many on the show the other night. There were 5 + the guest. This sort of came about accidentally. Four is probably the optimum without people getting confused as to who is who.

Nevertheless, if you listen to it weekly I'd imagine you'd get to know the voices and who is talkin' the most shit, pretty quickly....

Great work on the podcast boys, enjoy listening to it each week and enjoy it more than the rugger matrix one you put me onto.

Just a suggestion, maybe a good idea to but each members tips and margin for the win on the webpage or revisit the tips from the members and the margins from the previous week. Just to keep you blokes honest/something more to talk about
