1/ Hynes and Shepherd to fight out for the Aus 15 jersey after great seasons
2/ Ashley Cooper to be the test 13
3/ Barnes and Beale to create a strong 10/12 option for the Tahs.
4/ Mortlock, Baxter, Kepu & Frieier to all sign for the Rebels
5/ JOC (James O'Connor) to struggle with no decent 10

On second thoughts Gill might be to young to go to the U20 World Cup.

I don't think there is an age limit he's probably just about 18 now. If he's good enough he should very well be selected, however he may not be though.
I'm sure there is a minimum age reqirement. That is why O'Connor, To'omua and a few others weren't selected two years ago. Stupid rule really..

The IRB have a strict age window of 2 years for the tournament. Players have to be born in 1990 or 91 to play. I think Gill is born 92. They tried to get Shatz special clearance 2 years ago and were rejected.

Can anyone make an informed prediction for Mark Bartholemuez's 2010 performance? Ive heard about his career but ive never watched him play. I gather his performance in the Force vs Reds trial was adequate, but is this a season long solution to the Force's number 10 woes?

He looked pretty good on Friday night though he had an armchair ride from his forwards for a lot of the game.

He's of the good footie player category and IIRR he played most of his Super rugby in the outside back positions.

As flyhalf I think he'll be a good facilitator but won't have any mystery about him with ball in hand.

As for playing in other positions: I think he will do those kinds of things that a fellow of his age and experience can do - fill in when there are injuries in a competent manner and add value to the players next to him - but not do what the young Bartho could do when he could beat opponents on the outside.

He'll be a bit like an older version Haig Sare.

He is not a Aussie, but I want to get this one out before the comp starts.

Robbie Robinson set to have a very good super 14 to lead onto a stellar career.

Looked like one of the most assured junior footballers I had watched when playing fullback for NZ U20.
