Yep and coach of the year shouldn't automatically go to the winner of the conference, just like if they had a worst team of the year it should go the Waratahs and not the Force seeing as the Waratahs have a much better playing roster.

Link is a fantastic coach, but I have no fucking idea how White didn't win that award.

The top team should always win team of the year, but that criteria shouldn't work for the coach award.......

White was clearly more deserving of the award this year with what he did in such a short time with the Brumbies.......

Just as Link was more deserving in 2010 after turning the Reds around, but the Waratahs finished higher and Chris Hickey got the gong. To me, that was a bigger travesty that this, at least Link found a way to get an injury ravaged team with a curse on 10 to win their final 6 games and not only qualify for the finals but top the conference. That at least shows some coaching nous.

I don't think the coach award should go to anyone based on simply most improved. Next year after thetahs disaster this year, if foley or whoever wins twice as many games and misses the finals does it make hima super coach?

The brumbies have been massive under performers, this notion that white pulled together a bunch of no names is a complete lie. Yes he did a remarkable job getting them back on track, but they had all played rugby before.

Mckensie coached a team through a ton of injuries and changes, especially at 10, is that achievement seriously not recognized due to what happened the year before in a comp, etely different scenario?

First past the post is the easiest way to do it.

Ah as a proud New South Welshman it pains me not to have had a horse in the race. Maybe Tom Carter will win best rookie next year -
