That's surprisingly accurate, the only one who shouldn't there is Nel who is only there because he scored some tries which boosted his tally. He's not a very good scrummager.

I was trying to work that out earlier today. Obviously Read and McCaw are certainties, but that leaves 4 men pushing for two spots (Vito, Messam, Thompson and Cane).

If it was me I'd start with Vito and have Messam on the bench.

On form Messam is ahead of Vito who has had injury problems this season. Prpblem for Messam though is he seems to have disappeared whenever he played for the Blacks.

I hope he snaps out of that trend. I've always had a great deal of respect for messam, particularly in his role as captain of nz maori.

Kaino underachieved for a good few years too, so it's never too late.
