T'other Friday, Mrs Jarse headed across the Blue Mountains to Bathurst for the day. She reckons it was 10 degrees and pissing with rain as she drove through Katoomba.

Scarfie may be somewhere up there, rather than down in Gillardsville.

I reckon you must feel pretty good in the summer when we are getting baked at 35 degrees plus down on the plains of Olde Sydney Towne and it is only about 25 degrees up your way. Payback.

When I was in Canberra, I found the stubby cooler more useful to keep your hand warm rather than your beer cold.
