They caught the ball and secured clean ball on the 50m line from that play.

Pretty much the same as a scrum. Leave it bounce and it could go anywhere. Even if you get the scrum, you lose a minute, but fair chance it's a scrum penalty against.

Reckon Amatosero might be spending a bit of time on the bench, he was a bit of a liability tonight, particularly as the match wore on. Needs to focus on putting in 20 good minutes instead of 60 all over the shop.

Nice to hear DM have genuine must improves and criticisms lead his post match.

Could have been easy in the past to just be chuffed with a win and give the old “pleased with the effort BS” This isn’t a quick fix or a push a team close over the top. It’s building base up.

Was at the game and struck by how many young people there were. Made me feel ancient.

You’re not wrong at all but you can frame it as a game they would have lost in previous years. Same goes for the Highlanders.

I just want to see them turn the ship in the right direction.
