Victoria v Eastwood

Victoria lost to gordon in pool play.

So by rights it should have been drawn so that Norths met Gordon in the final not the semi.
Still if you dont use the previous season's placings I'm not sure how you could seed the draw.

^^ Tournaments are like that sometimes.

You can't get a fairer seeding arrangement than they have in the Grand Slam Tennis matches, but how often do we see other than Top and #2 seed in the final of a Tennis Grand Slam?

In the U17's the GF will be between two teams from what appeared to be an "unfavoured" pool based on 2012 U16 placings.

State champs is a tough couple of days and anything can happen. Good luck to the boys.

What utter garbage. By 'rights' the world should be sunshine and lollipops for everyone. It’s a tournament, kinda like the world cup ya know. By your interpretation the All blacks should play themselves and we can all get some sleep.

From the Emus Thread. Match report from the Under 11's at Manly

Manly u11 continued to dominate yesterday at keirle park defeating Sufc 38-0 & Norths by 60 in the QF. Penrith had a 14 - 14 draw with Southern Districts & played Randwick in the QF going down 42 - 24. The game was dominated by the big emus forwards but the Australian sprint champion that Randwick have on the wing is an amazing kid to watch. Not sure how many he scored (easily 3) but he was the difference. Gordon & Eastwood are the other SF today. My tips are manly to defeat Eastwood & Gordon to defeat Randwick in a narrow one. Manly to defeat Gordon in the final. Emus playing for their final top 8 placing vs Illawarra at 11.30. Emu's have had a great couple of days!

In U11s Manly beat Gordon by 25-5 from what I heard.

In U12s Semis Manly beat Southern Districts 45-14 and Gordon beat ACT 21-7. In the final Manly beat Gordon 26-12 in a very entertaining game.

Illawarra won U13s but do not know details. Heard they came second in their pool and then went on to win.
