Quick notes:
- Frisby very unlucky to be dropped for Genia.
- Turner returns on the wing, with Parker dropping out.

- No Kite, seemlingly dropped, with LHP Faagase switching to THP as Faeo returns from injury, and Paraka forced to the bench.
- Va'aulu returns at fullback, with Feaunati dropping out.
- Still no sign of Browning and Cooper. According to the Reds press releases, Cooper will be visiting schools in Townsville on Friday.

Overall, looks to be a slightly stronger team than the previous week, with 11 of 15 starters either Reds or Reds WTS or Reds EPS. City needs a huge improvement going into this round.

Go the Eagles!

Brendan McKibbin makes his return to the starting side. Hopefully the Eagles continue their winning ways.

The Brisbane City side is the beneficiary of the reds injury run and poor form - a real test for the Eagles: good luck them

Ready is a much bigger breakdown threat and has a higher workrate, but is much smaller than Matt Mafi. Depends on what Stiles is after, I guess.

If I was Stiles, I would have Turner marking Kellaway.

If I was coaching,I'd probably get CK to mark Kellaway.
He is still only a kid,and reckon he'd struggle in D against Kuridrani.
I would be looking to dominate him,not contain him.

Bring it on this is what the NRC is for.
I want to know what Kellaway's level is because every time I think "Ok, he'll be nothing special and will need time to find his feet" he nails it: Oz schools, U20s, Shute Shield and now NRC.

You have to remember that Paddy Dellit and John Grant will rove around in the back with Kell. Neither of them are pedestrian .

Looks good. Could have done with those clear skies up the road last night, too.

City really need this game to cement themselves in the top 4. Their for and against is horrible thanks to the Rising thrashing, so they don't want to finish on the same points as anyone.

Sounds as iff the scrum has picked up from last weeks hiding..... or the NSW Country scrum is even worse!
Good work Schatz!

NSW Country isn't very good, Qld Country's scrum handed it to them.

Only a few minutes left, so looks like City has this, but they need one more try for the bonus point win.

And the try (and bonus point) goes the other way in the last stages.

"Eagles have scored through a little dart from the ruck by Snowden. Conversion is good. City lead 34-26."

That's the full time score.
