Spoke to some boys and the team has been selected for CHS 16's. Anyone know the who is in it.

i was told the 16's squad (of 35-40) would be named after the CHS trials as some boys were playing in that in lieu of missing the final 16's trial on the 17th of may

It's worth reflecting on how much pressure to perform is bring placed on kids such that one of them would go to the trouble and risk of doing this.

Day off School - Yippee!!!

The 31st May is set down as a training day at Endeavour SHS for the whole squad. Then the squad will then be separated into CHS Sky and CHS Royal for games against CCC and AICES on the 2nd June at Foreshaw Park, Sylvania Waters. A final squad of 23 will then be selected. A further trial has been organised against ISA before competing in the Championships.

I think SBHS are able to compete in both, also very sure they (CHS) I's & II's play CAS @ Cranbrook Thur. 6th June.

I think they have always been both, although what would happen in the GPS vs CHS game?

Are these u16 lists accurate? I know one lad on the list that was of the opinion he had not made it to this stage

Wood Rat those dates are as accurate as they are published on the NSW Schools Rugby Union Web site.

If it was the list of boys in the Under 16's that you are questioning the accuracy of - which is what I think you are querying. The list is what was published in the SMH sports section on Saturday.

The boy that may have been listed in the SMH but thinks he didn't make it would be well advised to speak with their sports master at their School to confirm or deny their selection.

Good luck to the little fella. Hope he makes it.

From memory these too teams, sky blue and blue play trials and are cut to one team for the schools championships at Knox. Correct me if I am wrong, but I'm sure only one CHS side played the weekend at Knox in 2012.

Wood Rat There is a day off school at footy at stake for the young fella this Friday if the SMH list is correct (as transcribed by my good self).

A potential day off school is a powerful motivating factor for a young fella to approach the sports master to confirm details.

In our day, a footy day off school was gold dust, and souls were traded for a "legal" day off lessons for footy. Legitimised truancy - way to go.

The opens have I and II, and under 16 s have a CHS side trimmed prior to the Championships held at Knox.
