Sorry SOC and Brian Westlake, Dunedoo and Gulargambone are Rugby League towns. You might scrape up an U12 side at best.
You could try to get a game against the JGS in the regions

I knew Gular had a rugby club but looks like they have folded into the Gilgandra club must have been a sad day for Warwick Waugh!

They could have a crack at the Coonamble Rams just up the road from Gular.

I understand that Shore are at home to Kings (at Northbridge) this Saturday. 1st XV at 3:15pm, 2nd XV at 2:00pm and 3rd XV at 1:00pm.

Can anyone supply some team lists?
Thank you, should be an interesting match up. Too many have already written Shore off after last year, but I suspect they will at least trouble a few sides this season. They have too many strong players to be a walk over. Kings will be a very interesting opponent also, with what sounds like a good off season, some genuine talent, and they are always well coached.

How many of the Shore 1st XV are returning from last year.
They showed some interesting signs last year and impressed with the ticker they showed against some bigger sides.

...
15. Jock Armstrong

As much as I appreciate a team list, the team list provided just doesn't look quite right. I'm not familiar with all the boys in Shore 1's and 2's, but there seem to be a couple of notable omissions, including Olver, Emery and Connolly.

You'd imagine that they are injured. Maybe we need a 2nd XV list posted at same time to make omissions like these obvious.

Don't know why such a state secret ... But my mail is 12:20 scots v manly 3rds colts at manly oval

So my tips kings over shore ... As missing regular half back
Joeys to step up a gear , and beat new by 20
and thanks to Danny sidgreaves for releasing some of the seconds players ... As they won't need them in joeys 2nds, which will be the usual cricket score

And scots will win by about 40 points, and reserves will get to stretch their legs

And riverview to win training .. And remain undefeated, for round 1

It will be interesting to see how Kings go coming off the back of their recent rugby tour to the UK at the end of last year and how combinations established in those games match up to the standard of GPS Rugby? IIRC the last time Kings started a season off the back of a tour they became strong favourites after the trial season only to have numerous players break down and heavy injuries occur; very curious to see whether the tour will make the boys in blue battle-hardened or slightly overworked. Not to take anything away from the Shore boys who I feel are sometimes taken too lightly and not given a chance as a genuine threat; this is a real chance for them to make a name as more than just a 'rowing powerhouse' and if all goes to plan then we could be in for a real show. I do however think that the likes of Kane, Lehmann and King (all second year of 1st XV) will shine through and propel TKS to a win. Kings by 15.

This will be a good hit out for the King's boys. Unfortunately Kane is injured but I think King's will have the power up front to get over Shore. Hopefully the work they have done since the tour will help.

This year looks more open that last three. I don't think there will be any easy matches thru the season, and that goes for all - not just Shore - often difference will be in last 20 minutes. Shore2's did exceptionally well last year. I don't think 1's can win any silverware, but who knows? I get the feeling that other schools are mentally harder on their players, selecting them one minute, relegating them the next. Maybe this is what we're starting to see in the teams lists.

Bill Davis is returning from two dislocated shoulders. Last game played was in 16as in 2012 and is coming off the bench for 2s should be interesting to watch

it always interesting to see how those kind of players perform after such long breaks. from what I recall, Davis was a decent player and had a big impact on the kings v joeys 16A game back in 2012.
tips. 1st XV: kings by 10 and joeys by 25. 2nd XV: tight game but shore will have narrowly and joeys usual walkover I'm guessing

Boil over at Hunters Hill New has pipped Joeys on the bell 34 -33... going to be an interesting GPS season...

Good news! Did both sides have their top line up on the field? Or is there still some readjusting to do?
