TSC V Joeys 3rds referee.

Darren Cobcroft today (as per the SJRU appointments roster) sent 5 Joeys players to the bin. When he referred this as a trial game few weeks earlier he sent 4 Joeys boys to the bin and sent off one Joeys boy. In both games not one TSC player was sanctioned with a card.

When I heard today's count I was surprised. How does this happen, especially if there is a small history of it?

did anyone else see the blinding starting debut of the fullback for st joseph's today? Timothy Clements looks to be staking his claim for a permanent position in the line up

Todays annihilation at Bellevue Hill was actually 111-0 (15 Tries, 12 Conversions). Newington looking shaky, with key foward and captain Vuni Fiffita injured - assumably for the rest of the season. Maybe it shows lack of depth in the Newington squad, as no players were able to step up on the occasion, including 3 2nd season players: Simon Kennewell, Sepessa Loga-Tarogi and Matthew Serhon who were ordinary at best.

Joeys 1st clinical today against a strong Kings side. O'Shea had a blinder and was supported well by Wingti, Clements, Margan and co. Kings will certaintly be in the mix for 3rd though and could challenge View round 2.

Regarding the Joeys 3rds, they have received 10 cards so far this season, 9 of them in the 2 games against Scots with the same ref. He also decided to ban the Joeys team from forming the tunnel for Scots after full time. I don't like to focus on the ref but clearly this bloke has some history with Joeys, hopefully something is done about it.

IS, have you considered anger management therapy? I'm told it does wonders for the angry soul.

I'm not angry. I'm actually ecstatic because irony is something i am very fond of.
I just think its gutless (and hypocritical) to make oblique references to subject matter which is specifically banned from the thread and thereby avoid confronting the issue - waxing on with platitudes and hollow observations.

Sounds like Joeys need to make it official to the refs association.
