On a completely unrelated note, haven't seen a post with a pie review from Joker. What's going on? Starting a diet perchance?
He is greatly missed from the Waverley team that lost him.L

Disgraceful, This forum is not a place for taking the piss and spreading lies. It's obviously not great what happened, but the Scots 5 definitely did not punch him 10 times or step on his head, there were only a few jersey pulls and nothing further than that. I was hanging around after the game and saw 5 apologise, and the 6 wasn't holding any grudges. They both agreed the red was a bit excessive. @k1ngs4lyf, remember this is a forum that is centred around young men, I would advise you to keep your comments truthful and respectful.Sources tell me the Scot's boy in the five jersey through around ten strikes at the head to the blindside flanker of shore (6). Quite disappointed to hear this still happens in schoolboy rugby and heard it was right underneath the assistant referees nose who did not attempt to break it up.

The last DOR killed things. It will take time to unpack. But in Ben Herring, we finally have a decent DOR. Going to not happen overnight but with him leading I'm confident it will get better.I’m glad New are doing something about this. Great to see not for Newington, but the rest of the gps aswell. Would love to see some more competitive New games in juniors
Actually all of New were big units. Amazing how they were only in the first xv. Someone needs to have a word to their pommy coach too. His attack on the ref when things did not go his way was disgraceful. He needs to set the example not be the example. Joeys played like lions today and there was not much in this. The Side that lost today at the hill would have felt that they could have / should have won it.In case there was any doubt, Makasini was out there today on the left wing for Newington 1s. That boy is a big unit! Scored a try but otherwise didn't get that many touches. Jersey barely needed a wash after the game.
Agreed, 2nd XV halves were superb while 1st XV halves were a little ponderous and outplayed by their Newington counterparts. Can't believe he is only in year 10. Some talent. The 9 and 10 in Joeys 2ndXV also excellent. Also like the 13 for Joeys 1st XV. He looks the goods.
How do you seriously go to this effort when the advantage call starts at 72:30 for a not rolling. Ref's arm raise simply reminding of advantage, a minute long advantage is not cries for anarchy. Enjoy the rugby. The Controversial Penalty: A frame by frame analysis
In this presentation I will conduct a frame by frame analysis of the recent controversial advantage which resulted in the defeat of SHORE at full time. I will refer to three claims as a part of this investigation:
Claim A: A shore player intefered with the ball, impairing the placement/ability for the Scots' 9 to continue play
Claim B: Shore players were offside, resulting in the advantage call
Claim C: A shore player came in through the side during the clear out.

The Verdict
It is very tough for me, as a biased SHORE supporter, to make a call. I can find no infringement of the rules in my perusal of the footage, and all 3 of the major Claims I saw on G&GR appear to be unsubstantiated. I will leave it up to the reader to decide their opinion, but I find it very hard to believe that in the brief moments where the camera was obstructed by players/the ref an infringement was made - though it is possible.
If you believe I have made an error in this brief analysis, please don't hesitate to let me know and I will amend my post if necessary.
In terms of the three claims I presented at the beginning, the following is my verdict on those:
Claim A: Very likely false (due to the quality of the footage, and the blockages of view, I cannot debunk this claim entirely)
Claim B: Definitively False
Claim C: Definitively False
If you believe I have made an error in this brief analysis, please don't hesitate to let me know and I will amend my post if necessary.

Absolutely appalled. The culture of New rugby at the moment is horrendous. I think everyone can agree that it’s unfair to all the New boys who have a dream of playing firsts one day, and then New bring in hundreds of thousands dollars worth of players in opens. Maybe they should consider investing more in junior development. @Joker would agree, we did have a chat about this.
True, my mistake.Go back at least 10 pages
I disagree mate. I was sitting close by to where this incident occurred and I saw the whole thing. This is such a flawed argument.
12 of the Newington first 15 who beat Joeys today came to the school in year 7 or 8.
Before making a claim please make sure its correct first
Stop introducing such logic and facts to the discussion! This is such a flawed argument.

Exactly, don’t forget Auggies as well, who are absolutely denuded of talent by Joeys and others and still they manage to dominate the ISA.He is greatly missed from the Waverley team that lost him.
Quite a few Waves boy sadly ending up at Joeys these days. A frustrating trend!
To be fair the 2nds halves were aided by a dominant forward pack. in ones joeys fought hard, but the ball was slow. I thought we kicked too much in the first half. big men tireAgreed, 2nd XV halves were superb while 1st XV halves were a little ponderous and outplayed by their Newington counterparts.

Shore vs Scot’s today
True, and one of the reasons for the slow ball was New's habit of lying on the wrong side of the ruck. It was frustrating they weren't pinged for it but fair play to Newington. If the ref lets it go then you take full advantage. To be fair the 2nds halves were aided by a dominant forward pack. in ones joeys fought hard, but the ball was slow. Hey bulldozer, I personally do not think shaming this scots boy is the right use of this platform. He's going out there playing good footy and putting his body on the line. I understand that strikes were thrown (although only jersey grabs and shoves - definitely no stomping or any other outrageous accusations i've heard), but you have to respect that this lad had to sit on the sideline for a big portion of the game, and watch his team win in great fashion, without him. I'm sure if this was someone who went to the school you support, if you do support one, that you certainly wouldn't be saying these types of things.Absolutely discraceful from that Scots boy. Needs a serious look at himself and some time on the sidelines. Appalling
Look mate, I am not an expert around here but pretty sure we look to play the ball not the man. Let's stick to the guidelines and keep this forum flowing.I disagree mate.
