NSW AAGPS 2025 (banter and commentary)

Interesting to see the Kings V Riverview results after hearing that they only limited rugby camps these holidays. Losing in the 1,2 and 3’s is not a great result. And I watched my nephew in the 16c and then the following b’s game. Clearly out played through well drilled and enthusiastic view boys. It was only after 25 mins I started hearing that only the a teams went to a rugby camp. Clearly they only place the emphasis on their stars rather than trying to raise the level over all. But hey this clearly isn’t working. Disappointed as an old boy knowing that the parent driven rugby club isn’t trying to support what rugby players they have left. I hope their pickle ball team is doing well

This might be one of the most idiotic comments I’ve read.

Performance camps are held at every school, yes they only take A players and some B kids. Yes the school does not take jimmy in the 13Es on rugby camp.

These young men at Kings have probably gone through one of the toughest weeks of their life and being emotionally drained. Your comments make no sense and every GPs school has been running camps like this for years. If you payed attention to the rugby club they offer rugby day which is the day before school returns for 11s-14s all divisions and whoever wants to go.

the school has two coaches on a team and they train 2/3 times a week they cannot get jimmy from the Fs on a rugby camp every holiday….

If you payed attention to the school results this year you would notice from the bottom up their has been a major improvement, the 14Es went from last year not winning a single game to only losing 2 so far this year. Be better.

Congrats View too good. Kings gameplan was AWOL very little of the route one action and too much ball to static backs with limited space. Credit to View for limiting their options. Solid hand on the trophy now for View.
I ama TKS supporter and completely agree

Riverview a cut above today - organised, no mistakes and played some entertaining rugby

TKS never got into gear, backs looked flat footed and tactic of kicking it away early in the game backfired.

But let’s be clear, Riverview just too good

outstanding from view, some challenging games heading up including joeys away.

I’m sure Kings would be hoping their hunters hill mates could pull off a miracle win

Straight up thoughts

- Scots number 1 is both a cheeky bugger and a player with a whole lot of heart. Went 110% the whole way.

- Scots’ moments of brilliance topped a compact team performance from Shore

- Lineouts is a must focus for Shore. Scrums were smart but can only get you so much reliable territory

- I am a bit worried we will not will a game this season. But with the Aus U18s at the helm im sure this worry will be put to rest.

- Shore’s outer backline looked a bit flat and were not as dynamic and powerful as the Scots ones.

Correction.

Finn Hannon (Joeys 10) ran 96m, beat three players then out ran and swerved to throw off the chasing Newington wingers.
This was confirmed on Streamer. 96m.....
In years to come it will become 97m

Would this by any chance represent young Nelson Roberts scoring the last minute winner against 'View in 2018?

No but it does suit. This was inspired in 2010 when Kings v Joeys at Kings when a Joeys winger returned a kick running 70m through the entire Kings team to spark a historic victory. I will dig the video up.
