Maybe the Shore school could copy Barker and have one of their dads reffing
After watching Marshall Le Maitre in the Gen Blue program at the end of the year and some of the snippets from this year, it’s going to have to be an absolute gun to beat him for the 7 jersey.Le Maitre?

Not to mention the real gems who are in the ISA sidesLet's not forget that it is 100%, not the be-all or end-all if you don't make it into gps 1's. Countless players in gps 2nds, etc. have gone on to play professionally in both codes. Examples from the last 2 years: Jesse McLean, Jack Bowen, Joey Fowler, Taukamo. Most players are already contracted by the time they get into GPS 1's so scouts often look for players in the 'lower' teams.
No. This is not suitable. This is about kids. Keep it positiveAdmin delete if this is out of bounds. Without intending any criticism of the player I cannot see any upside in the SJC 8. It is baffling to have seen him playing opens this season where he made zero impact in a struggling side. This showed in his performances in the under 16 rep programme where his performances were not that of a player with the attendant hype. He was good, not great and made the 16s Waratahs in reputation alone. He would have been far better served to play in his proper age group for his school.. I fear his development has been irreversibly affected. He will not make GPS 1s.
