I actually did also hear that Stefan Maugeri is a key player forcing his way into the Joeys 1st xv. He is a very skilful and powerful player at the number 14 spot. This may be due to his mentoring from Jacob Kiraz. It would be good for yourself and many others to keep your mindset open to Stefan and watch how he performs this season.

A predominately seconds backline returning from last year, but young so will improve a lot this year. Could promising season and definitely a backline to watch, with lots of points in them.

Pretty good crack at picking a team morgan and i do tend to agree a fair bit with that,

pretty certain that will booth is a good chance for the front row, along side the likes of john pennington.

Not having Moxham has to be a piss take, that bloke has Joeys first 15 and Wallabies in his blood.

Well, Raff is a maybe. However, Mr Pennington I don't think so. I've seen videos of him at the gym and all he does is a max bench press. No fitness or working out of any other component of the body.

I Have also witnessed his greatness in the off season with his training with Kiraz and with newly imprved his ball skills and speed i think hes a locked in 1s player for 2024. I do believe he could put up game winning performances game after game and he even might set a gps try scoring record. Kid can play.Also a good shout is Harry hill in think him in 13 next to stefan could be a very good combo! Thoughts?

Hey Jack ,

Glad we can agree mate, I do also believe that he can put up consistent performances that could save Joey's season. Harry Hill is a possibility but due to his speed and weight I doubt they will combine him with a thicker unit like Stefan. Harry is a very skilful player as seen when he pulled out of Gordon sevens due to no Competition for him in the centers position. Subsequently if the coaches do put the two together they can make a deadly duo!.

Yeah think that stefan may be locked in ive heard rumours about some professional teams looking fo a contract and could be a reserve grade dogs player in the near future

How far off Hughes is Max Patterson?

I seriously wouldnt doubt that having Tobias and Thomas Gandy at 10 and 12 in the 2nd XV for SJC would be a mistake. The twins out of the tigers dev acadamy would put a cuckhold on the whole of the GPS.

I cannot agree more. With the combination of the " Lord and saviour" Raff Ryan at 9 and the Gandys slotted into the backline it could be the team of the decade. Raff Paired up with his new coach RIRI could be a deadly player for the season. A Raff had a vital role in the cook islands team in the pacific cup challenge he played one game then suffered calf cramps which could be a challenge for him this season.

I think that small squabble between the boys wont compromise his position i think he is a possible contender for captain

How far off Hughes is Max Patterson?

Patterson i heard is in and around contention and definitely a shot at moving up as the season progresses, but i think hughes will just pip him for the spot at the start of the season.

I've never heard of Stefan. Good to hear he is within interest from the Bulldogs. They seem to be signing all the young prospects as of late.
