People should give more cedit to Shore for persisting with rugby . After a decade of unfavourable results, they have stuck with the game and are going on to to next year as favorites to win the comp.
I don’t think they’ll be favourites but yes in a few years they’ve come and long way and them being a lot more competitive is only a good thing for GPS rugby, hopefully they continue this upward trajectory in the coming years

Looks like a good line up, some other players who could be around are Tom Duddy (Front row), Harry Gianoutsous (flankers), Max Soepono (9-10), Harry Harrington (front row), Aston Weir (6 or 7) and others who I've forgotten. There'll be some great depth next year and I'm hoping injuries will be kept to a minimum.

Never Heard of Harry Harrington so can't comment. Aston W definitely. Harry G definitely. Again, it's a hard one as there are on 15 positions in starting lineup and can't fit everybody in the team.

I think it may be like Kings 1stXV this season. There were kids that played 2nds at Kings that were very very good players and elsewhere would have started in other schools 1stXV.

Totally agree but just cant see ashton playing firsts in that stacked year 12 and 11 group. Definitely could play seconds if he gets a big bigger?

Scots have a variety of strong players and I think they could be up at the top of the table for 2024.
Onitoni will prove himself next year and will be one of the stars on the field.

Kings 1st XV Team 2024

1. Cooper Mcglashan (3rdXV)
2. Sam Cammeleri (3rdXV)
3. Hayden Lavercombe (16As)
4. Anton Thiel (3rdXV)
5. Campbell Wickham (4thXV)
6. Tom Whalan (3rdXV/Injured)
7. Charlie Baker (2ndXV)
8. Isaac Fonua (1stXV)
9. Matt Smith (3rdXV)
10. Ben Sawyer (2ndXV)
11. Hugo Williams (2ndXV)
12. Louis Fenwicke (2ndXV)
13. Viliami Vunipola (2ndXv/Injured)
14. Talen Risati (15As)
15. Isamu Naito (2ndXV/Injured)

Very strong year group this year 12 (obviously winning the premiership) - only one 1st Xv player that was not in Year 12 and half of the 2nd Xv were Year 12 as well so will be very inexperienced next year. However, most of these 3rd XV players would have played 2ndXv this year at other schools, such as Anton Thiel (GPS 16s and All Schools 2 Row). Overall, it will be a hard off-season for Kings to rebuild their 1st XV for next year and will be interesting to see what happens. (I think they have a chance but definitely aren't the favourites).
I heard Anton Thiel was moving to the backline?

You had a bigger sized player playing #10 for the thirds. He looked good, would have thought we would be in contention?
