No no @Joker I want your all time GPS wallabies team not your Joeys wallabies team.....I could of done that with Scots as well
No mention of Ben Kennedy in any of the teams so far, went to league obviously a year or 2 out of school but was good enough to be a standout Wallaby, fantastic footballer, Mongrel, Motor, skill, allround machine that bloke. I was on the bench for Sydney Uni when he scored 4 tries for Manly Marlins and completely outshone a handy fellow backrow team mate in Willie O one day at Manly Oval. He was a gun.

I went to Newington's reunion day last year. Great day and atmosphere. Usually the old boys are behind the posts and the visiting school sit along the sideline bank next to the New supporters. No problems last year. If the Scots crowd were behind the posts, then this would have caused an issue between the New old boys and the schoolboys. Either the Scots crowd should have been moved to the usual side or the old boys moved. Split them up. No trouble then.

this should have 100% been the gps a team. Maybe a few more scots boys would make it better.

Joker, I know View won all their 16s games on the weekend, (they have been hampered with flu last week), but apart from the As winning on the bell 28-26 that has already been reported, I can’t fill in the gaps.
IMO, best game of the season, high scoring, high intensity and high pace. Couldn't get better!

Re those Large boys, I have a good mate with a son at Gregs Campbelltown, he'd been raving about them for a couple of years, the son played with Ashton, needless to say they were shattered to lose them, they both look pretty special though haven't seen Ashton play more than about 15 minutes.
No one agrees with me that Ben Kennedy deserves to be in the conversation for best all time GPS team, not even the Joeys centric one.

Kings 1st XV Team 2024

1. Cooper Mcglashan (3rdXV)
2. Sam Cammeleri (3rdXV)
3. Hayden Lavercombe (16As)
4. Anton Thiel (3rdXV)
5. Campbell Wickham (4thXV)
6. Tom Whalan (3rdXV/Injured)
7. Charlie Baker (2ndXV)
8. Isaac Fonua (1stXV)
9. Matt Smith (3rdXV)
10. Ben Sawyer (2ndXV)
11. Hugo Williams (2ndXV)
12. Louis Fenwicke (2ndXV)
13. Viliami Vunipola (2ndXv/Injured)
14. Talen Risati (15As)
15. Isamu Naito (2ndXV/Injured)

Very strong year group this year 12 (obviously winning the premiership) - only one 1st Xv player that was not in Year 12 and half of the 2nd Xv were Year 12 as well so will be very inexperienced next year. However, most of these 3rd XV players would have played 2ndXv this year at other schools, such as Anton Thiel (GPS 16s and All Schools 2 Row). Overall, it will be a hard off-season for Kings to rebuild their 1st XV for next year and will be interesting to see what happens. (I think they have a chance but definitely aren't the favourites).

Will Farrah, and Ki Wilson definetly need to be on this list (12,13,15 and 9). Ki made the schools 1 team on the bench and was outstanding when playing for the GPS b team. Farrah was carving up in the 16s age group and should be mentioned.

Personally, I reckon James Cox would be able to slide into 3 instead of Lavercombe if he gets in good shape and lays off the meat pies and piss.
