Ever heard of Oscar Jorgensen? Pat Broe and Eamon Doyle also likely to be thereabouts from Joeys.

Think they will do better than last year with a lot of names in that team familiar to me from their 2022 team. Their captain is always the player who has been in the side the longest and I havent heard of Dom before so dont think he will skipper.

I can usually agree, but from what I have seen, Dom is a great leader who leads the boys around very well. I have heard he is down for a huge pre-season and is apparently already breaking records (bench press) in the gym. So cannot wait to see what he tosses up in 1s.

How much did he bench press? What year is he in and team did he play last year?

I believe he broke the yr10 115kg for 5 reps record getting 122.5kg for 5 reps. Dom was a crucial member of the View 16A side, showing plenty of aggression with promising footwork and skills.

Just thinking rationally here, but wouldn’t Will Guilfoyle the current Gen Blue u18s hooker be a more likely selection than the U16s shadow one at this early stage? And isn’t Jamo Lyne a prop, or is there another one? Plus I haven’t heard any rumours out of Kings that Penisini is planning to repeat.

What school is Will at? Warner was the GPS A starting hooker this year, and I am probably a bit bias for shore to be honest. I put Penisini in the team thinking that he was in year 11 but have now been told that he is in year 12. James Lyne is a fullback who will train hard this summer and I back him a lot.
