Very interesting night of Rep footy. I thought the Blue and White teams would dominate but it seemed to go the other way. I didn’t actually know of many people in the sydney team but i do remember aden ekanyake and tunui jorgenson as quite talents. I thought the country team would be a dud but they surprisingly won in a good match. GPS 1st and 2nd won by no surprise. Their talent was unmatched. Interesting to see many selectors from various teams there to watch the games and most surprising i saw darren coleman there.
Well done to all the boys that played today.

A big thank you @ Joker and all those taking the time of your day to update this forum with the results of all the games throughout the afternoon. Not having a VPN made things difficult to watch anything online here in the Northern Hemisphere.

Thanks to the country and Sydney teams for screwing up most of our tips….In all seriousness well done and congratulations.

Congratulations & well done to the GPS 1 & 2 Teams on their victory tonight.

Just got home and defrosting now

The shame was not seeing Knox 7 up against the Joeys 7 who was injured. That would have been a match up. And I agree the Shore 9 was most industrious and creative in attack. Sharples defense and clean up were huge plus his 50/22 kicking.

Great write up. Well done and thanks.

I agree with everything you said. I expected a lot more from GPS 1sts 12 after the season he’s had. Langi needs a lot of work if he is to be a Front Rower at high levels. Not really his fault when he shifts between the 2nd Row and Prop at this stage. They squeezed him into the front to make room for others IMO. Has he got a league back ground? Plays like it.

There has got to be 4-5 7s runnings around in School Boy Rugby that would be more than good enough for a NSW 1 spot so the performance of the Knox 7 tonight was huge.
How did he compare to other CAS Props? And or other front rows throughout the afternoon???

Lots of harsh punishment on the kings 12, people do have to remember when the game plan at kings is for him to shift around between 10,12 and 15 he is able to create more opportunities for himself.

the game plan seemed just to send him as a block runner or send him to run straight at a brick wall of defenders. Can’t exactly expect him to do anymore than he did last night. I thought he was solid and played like a more traditional 12.
