Any updates on Oscar Jorgensen injury timeframe? Not to take anything away from the other players but he could’ve been the difference in a lot of Joeys matches that haven’t gone their way this year.

Agreed. I understand he is an outside chance of next game, more likely a week or two after that.
Round 6 is 17 June and round 7 is five weeks later on 22 July, with all the rep stuff in between,

I will contact the stats team and ask them to verify their results.
Remember we rely on scores reported accurately and we aim to cross check them.

3rd 10 in 3 weeks.

Who was the 12 for Joeys 2nds last week? I thought he had a strong game. Not the biggest body but he certainly hit the line hard and scored a nice try in the first half.

PREVIEW: Joeys vs Kings
A winless Joeys face an undefeated Kings this Thursday at Hunters Hill.

Further injuries have impacted Joeys this week, with No. 10 Ben Playford out indefinitely with a broken hand. This has resulted in a fifth consecutive change in the 10/12 combination. With additional 1st XV experience in the centres unavailable (due to long term hamstring injuries to Matt Gough and Ben Whyte), the coaches have called on Pat Broe to move to the 12 jersey. The reshuffle sees Ben Chick move to fullback, with Declan Minto coming into the team on the wing.

In the forwards, Paddy O’Malley is out with concussion (from ‘THAT’ head clash incident last week) and Johannes Logan come back into the 6 jersey following his own 2-week standdown with concussion. In better news, Pat Young is cleared to play.

With both sides conceding around 25-28 points a game so far, the difference has been Kings’ attack. With arguably the same amount of possession as Joeys have had this season so far, their efficiency at scoring points, almost at will, has set them apart from all comers so far in 2023. Whereas Joeys had all the ball against a disciplined Riverview defence last week, they could not work over the defence enough to create overlaps, nor had the gamebreakers to burst through the ruck or the midfield. Kings had no such trouble against Scots last week, seemingly turning every missed tackle into points.

With a robust front row, sniping halves, and a backline full of size and speed – Kings have been ruthless with the ball. Joeys task will be to do what no other team had done so far this season, keep Kings in check for the first 35 mins, as they have blown all opposing teams away in the first half. Joeys have made too many errors and conceded penalties all season in giving teams a free entry to their own 22. If they can turn that around, they have the ball retention and fitness to score over 20 points. A review of the Kings games so far shows that for all their attacking brilliance, Kings are yet to demonstrate they are the best defensive team in the competition. The big question will be, can Joeys keep Kings to 4 tries or less?

Hwi has been playing poorly lately, probably the reason they are bottom of the ladder. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets put in the GPS 2nd xv this year.
Please do not name and shame schoolboys and blame them for a teams performance.
They cannot respond here and is one of our biggest no-no's.

Do not do this again.

Instead try this approach....

The Joeys no.9 has not been playing to the excellent level demonstrated in the past. This could result with a different rep team this season.
