That same principle applies for many of the other Riverview boys, particularly the rowers. Tom Hartman, the hatrick hero from the weekend, also happens to be a pretty handy rower winning the 2nd VIII as well as numerous boys who have played at times in the 1st XV this season who also won the First VIII and the National Rowing Championships. Ambrose Hennessy, James O'Meara and Phoenix Graham all examples of that.
Pretty sure you will find most boys in 1st Xv for all the schools will be in relativity high teams whether for basketball, cricket or rowing. In addition I think you will find some also swim.

I've been hearing that the SHORE boys are getting fired up for this weekends clash. Rumours that posters around the school have been put up with Tom Duddy's (Ex SHORE rugby player) face on them "G'ing" the boys up.

Is this fair play, or being rude to Thomas Duddy?

Is anyone aware of how the Kings forward pack are shaping up this week in regard to any potential injuries or changes as the boys on the river seem to be struggling with a few big losses, namely number 5 Charlie Bull. This game will certainly be game of the round, or at least you'd expect and I anticipate much of the action will occur in the middle of the field with the dominance of the Kings pack. View backline need to continue performing if the boys are a chance. Another few tries from the likes of Hartman and Grover could come in handy. Any thoughts?

In the trial the View boys looked fairly solid against the Kings team. A few injuries and retuning players to both sides. Watching the replay of the k v n game the addition of Tonga back into the team was a major addition to their attack. The kings 15 and 13 were also very good. The loss of Bull will upset the set play particulythe line out but Kings too seem to be down a jumper from the trial? The view backline has a symmetry which works well but the Kings team

Are there any upsets to occur this weekend as it seems to be the round of the year so far. Thoughts?
News from Kings alot of their 1s n 2s boys are sick and they only had 8 boys training yesterday so will see how today turns out. But they have alot of depth in their 3rds. Heard Hadley won't be playing as well n Aussie plus only 2 of their starting backs are a definite this week. So I think View will be happy to see n hear this. They have the advantage but never count Kings out at home in Parra

This comment is utterly ridiculous! I am so sick of people taking the piss out of my good mate Duddy.

I can confirm this. I have heard great things about this young man out of the kings camp. He has got the size, the ability, the skill, and most of all the SPEED to go to the next level. Rumour has it that he missed school last friday to fly to QLD for a meeting with wayne bennet for a potentiall 3 year $2 million dolphins contract potentially on the table.
