Just FYI, if people are wondering why there are bugger all King’s teams playing Joeys today it’s because they had to reschedule cadet camp. It was originally scheduled for that week of flooding rain last term and the army rightfully closed the Singleton base that week. Having missed it last year due to Covid they didn’t want the boys to miss it again so this week was the best compromise. 1sts, 2nds and 3rds players came back this morning so those teams haven’t trained together, and everyone else is still there.

Well worked try from Joeys at the restart, to 14 for his 2nd, Sam Taber - he looks quick and has a nice in and away.

Another try to Joeys to the right of the upright by No 5. Too much ball, too fast at breakdown. Kings doing their best but well outgunned. Joeys 31 Kings 7 with 20 to go. Could get big.

Oscar J scores outwide after a strong run from his mate Taber down the right wing who if hadn’t slipped would have had his third. Converted by MJ for Joeys to lead 38 to 7 with 15 to go.
