Interesting table Joker.

I find it perplexing that the School that is 2nd in 2nd XV Comp (and by a considerable margin) is 2nd last in the 1st XV comp.

Statistics can be beguiling HB. :)

These things often need context and depth or analysis as the bare numbers are often dependent on time and circumstances.

For example

11 out of Kings 30 1st XV titles were won before the end of WW1.

17 of Shore's 24 2nd XV titles were won before 1971 (well before enrolments would have played a part)

13 of Grammar's 14 1st XV titles were won before WW2

The only thing that I can really take from Joker's well-researched table is Joeys have consistently outperformed ever other school across the board and that this success transcends decades and eras.

The rest of us a just mere mortals.

You need to go back to 2006 - things started getting distorted from this point in time

Friday this week the Gen Blue under 18s with a sprinkling of under 17s are playing around the same time on clutch.tv. It’s been great being able to watch all the Gen Blue run round.
