What a fine day for rugby: slight breeze, sun shine etc.

Witnessed an absolute cockgrinder of a match between Joeys 13G and a full imported oak hill side

31-30 victory for the cerise. Highlight would have to go to my mates nephew Orlando O’Kane (Unsure if any relation to Henry, joker?) picking apart a bemused Oakhill defence to score an 80m try under the sticks. (Vincent creaghesk)

Definitely some talent to watch out for in these lower grade teams - good things to come - lots of depth.

The selection process is pretty wide open at the start of season. Players do not get simply placed in the same team from the year before. In the past there have been players who have come from no-where to make the 1st XV. Best known case at Joeys was Lieutenant Colonel Michael Calhoun who was in the 16F's one year, 6th XV and then 1st XV.
