As I understand it, and for the benefit of others that may not be familiar with selection process.

The first 15 players selected are NSW 1, the next 15 are NSW 2. The next 8 are NSW 1 reserves , the last 8 are NSW 2 reserves.

I thought it was NSW 2 reserves then NSW 1 reserves, which kind of makes sense if you are trying to give both teams a competitive go. Can anyone confirm?

Yep, I believe it is NSW II reserves and then NSW I. Although I don’t think there’s much separating the teams most years.

Goodonya W88.

Gee, there’s some firepower in this CS squad.
Not sure if it’s backed up by results across the years at the Aus Schools Champs, but I do love the CS team. It’s the only one where it’s inherently a “national” side - at least drawn from national pools. And I always get the impression that having dipped out on getting a nod from their own State, the CS squad pulls together as a unit just that bit tighter, just that bit quicker, with just that bit more to prove than their teammates of only last week! ;)
Great to see all these lads getting to run on at Riverview next week, and not just up and down the sidelines.
