Joeys score a try via backs from a lineout where Scolari goes over and I don’t think anyone from Shore laid a hand on a single Joeys back. Training run try. Joeys 43 Shore 17

When Joeys backs hold it, they are deadly and do well off a set piece

Quick Hands

14 A New 37 def Scots 7
14 B Scots 10 def New 7 (length of the field intercept try on full time to snatch victory)
14 C Scots 12 def New 5
14 D Scots 30 def New 12

14A, B and C matches all closer that the trials. Scots shaved 20 off the trial result. New B and C lost the trials by over 50 in each case.

15A a comfortable to win to Scots (only half a team with Glengarry, so what would the full team do?)

15 B and 15 C looked close - not sure who won either.

Thanks Shore for your hospitality. Now, close the laptop and head off to the Northbridge with family for a meal and Test Match.
Great commentary today everyone.

FT 48-17 to Joeys. Joeys will be happier with H2 but not H1. Forwards need to work harder over the ball for the whole game. Backs look v strong

Yep, thought backs were excellent in the second half but the forwards will need to be stronger to topple Scots. Disappointing with the two blowouts in the 1s and 2s but a great day of Rugby nonetheless. No shame in losing to Joeys.
