Do they re-pick the teams at any stage? On the GPS Website they have two sets of teams posted at different times for last Year.

Calling on sharp-eyed JoeBoys.
Can anyone assist with correct i.d.'ing of the JB's final try-scorer yesterday? I thought it was Dylan Dowling(9) burrowing over under the pile of bodies, but AAGPS Results says Jack Quinn(8).
Any assistance gratefully received; just so the correct attribution can go into the Match Report / Blog.
Cheers

No way was it Jack Quinn; go with DD [shunted over the line by 17 and 14 mainly].

Only three 3rd XV players picked this year, a fair bit down from last year. I'm a bit unsure about a couple of them, but I'm glad they got the opportunity nonetheless.

A couple players who I'm surprised have missed out (mostly based on previous representative history): Kyle Devine, Ryan O'Beirne and Max Sinclair. Not sure if they've been injured.

Ryan O"beirne played his first game back in the firsts yesterday played twenty minutes in the seconds last week ........ he's been injured all through the trials .....

Many thanks for those replies 'Steppa and BR.

Optometrist appointment scheduled for Monday is now cancelled. ;)

Dowling really played his woofa off in the last 8" or so trying to get the JB's over the comeback line. "Played good, done well", as legend's say.

I need some pics from Joeys v Scots and View v New for the match review blog.

If anyone has any photos they would be happy to share please post here or send me a private convo. Pics preferably in landscape with 2:3 aspect ratio.

I stand corrected. Although, "withdrawn" does imply that they won't be playing again, normally when a team doesn't play for one week it's noted as a "bye".

A pity for the boys in the As that there will be weeks where they have no rugby.

Newington 13s are also touring the Gold Coast in July.

Update: it looks like "withdrawn" now means withdrawn completely. A decision was made on Friday and communicated to the boys. They're looking for alternative fixtures. A real shame.
