Messy lineout, but City hold on and rumble through the forwards yet again.

Country strong counter ruck but they go straight to ground. That was a HUGE cleanout from Kuridrani, basically won that penalty on his own.

McIntyre kicks the penalty dead.

City are doing everything they can to lose this game, McIntyre in particular. He's had a game to largely forget.

Strong scrum from City, but Country clear and run it. They are throwing it around now. Grey with a huge break! Then he throws it away.

Country play on quickly.

Feaunati kills a 3 on 1 out wide, gets the ball but gets bundled into touch.

10 seconds left, next break down ends it. Country throw in.

With the rub of the green, and a lot of Soup players, City can only just scrape home.

City run it out, no hooter, play on after full time. Ref gives a penalty to City. McIntyre taps and kicks to touch. City win!

They did EVERYTHING to lose the game, yet they held on.

City need to lift next week, hope frisby's injury isn't too bad

Grey huge again for the Eagles, but he couldn't get them home.

City had all the ball but couldn't unleash their backs as their midfield didn't combine at all. McIntyre had an error filled game and went into his skin, which didn't help.

Not sure what Country did to Angus Gardner but gee they got some rough calls. City will desperately need Frisby to be fit next week.

Yeah, City attack looked a mess with Frisby off, he sets a lot of it off.

Eagles kicked away too much ball, and until late they did little when they had it anyway. When they had to run it, they found gaps out wide but they always struggled with the last pass.

Very good game, was brutal. Don't want to sound like a City hater but Country would've had that with ease if Hoiles, Chapman and Treloar played. Country did amazingly well with a lot of amateurs.

The correct answer was Perth, so they could play the final at Ballymore in front of their wonderful fans.

Grey man of the match, can't fault that call. He was very good again. He's not the biggest guy, but he is not easy to tackle and he makes himself felt.

If Hoiles, etc plays, Frisby may not do his ankle/whatever and the City attack may not go to complete crap. It's just one of those things.
