Vikings are coming in for a bit of stick here, but it is heartening to see them playing an up tempo game with the intention of scoring tries. Hopefully this attitude will spill over to some extent to the Brumbies next year. Just need to get their defenses working a bit better atm.

Who scored the last Stars try?

I think it was Macklin, the fullback.

Skelton was much better in this game, very busy in the tight too.

Moggs try was the turning point. If he didn't take the intercept the stars were in. Was a 16 point turnaround

Looked like a bad injury to Robbie Coleman, perhaps a broken ankle. Can anyone confirm?

that's what the Roar are reporting too. I was half watching the game, and half watching the 4 kids running down the hill to catch them before they hurt themselves, or more likely a random punter

Just caught up with the video of the game. Lots of running the ball but also some pretty big defense on both sides. Most scrums were very tidy affairs. No penalty kicks at goal again.

Thought the standouts for the Vikings were Fotu Aeulua, Alan Ala'alatoa, Nigel Ah Wong and Jesse Mogg (for his running - only kicked the ball when necessary rather than as first instinct). The new winger looks the goods.

Should be a good match against the Rising, but will need to stop leaking tries while continuing to score their own.
