QC (Quade Cooper) on attack. Big prop Reuben Leilua burrows over for Country.

Greene's (easy) kick looked ok - but ruled to have missed!

Reckon Perth Spirit could make a run for 4th position to sneak into finals from here given Stars with injuries etc falling by the way side...

Spirit great counter rucking but penalised.

Country knock on in attack 20m out.

Tongan Thor gets a 25m run. Brought down 5m out.

Again he runs it. Just short. Held up!

QC (Quade Cooper) scrum. But knocked on by their backs 5m out.

Thor going well. Penalty to QC (Quade Cooper). 5m lineout.

QC (Quade Cooper) line drive. YC to Perth's Hardwick for collapsing the maul.

Greene recycles. Barker loses the ball 5m out from the posts! Perth eventually break out and kick down field. 64th minute.

Good QC (Quade Cooper) break out from Tom Banks down the left. Kicks ahead but an unlucky bounce 20m out into touch.

Perth jacklers are snaffling the ball but pinged this time.

Faagese runs it up. But Spirit boot it downfield and go 90m. "Double Movement" penalty. 68th minute.

Thor running like a machine. Deliberate offside against Spirit who are down to 13 with a YC to Heiberg.

Van Wyk has to come back on to prop. Country on attack. Spirit pinged again. TRY to the THOR from a few metres out!

Turnover by Country. Thor charging again. Banks now 25m out. Tuttle inside to James Turner under the posts.

29-64

@ 75mins - QC (Quade Cooper) putting a hint of respectability back on the board.

Thor still full of running. Spirit now with ball in hand.

Hagan runs a 45 degree line stepping in right and stepping in right again (and again) for about 25m. Passes to Fitzgerald. Runs back the other way and gives a little show and go to score from 20m out. (conv missed)

Time up on the clock. Perth get a penalty and boot it out.

Bit of a Country comeback 2nd half but really the game was decided by halftime.

How's Thor looking Kiap?

Heheh, I am excite.

Outstanding. Running like a freight train.

By the time he came on the game had opened up, and Perth had a lot of men in the bin so can't comment too much on his scrummaging (although there weren't any problems).

Certainly looked good with ball in hand and quite solid across the field. Scrummaging looking good as well.

Onehunga Havili looks handy too.

The thing I'm looking at from this game is our U20s, with Thor (hopefully), Havili, Tuttle, Jooste all putting a case up.

Big scoreline, QLD Country have had just too many injuries the past few week, missing some important players in the team.

Good to hear. Once Taniela get's more experience at scrum time he'll be a very potent force in Qld Rugby.
