NB Reg. Brisbane will have the wood on the Vikings in the front row just like Qld Country did last week. Will set the foundation for a good win to the Brisbanites.

EDIT: Fraser McReight will also have a field day pilfering Brumbies ball at the breakdown. Clearly the best young player coming through the ranks in Aussie rugby. Vikings need to change their game plan and attack the ruck rather than standing off to bolster their defensive line which is actually pretty good.

Valetini's return and Joe Powell on the bench are positives for the Vikings, but I'd really like to see Keunzle given the starting spot at 10 for a game or two to judge him against Lolesio who has been solid but not outstanding yet.

Vikings again having a lot of trouble in the scrums. Two errors immediately off kick-offs, one a dropped ball by Enever and the other a lost ball by Pulu, have proved costly with 7 points to Brisbane resulting from each of the subsequent plays.

Why was Paisami selected ahead of Henry to start with?
Said it after the 1st round, Paisami is a strong power runner, but that’s about it. Henry offers so much more

Very unsatisfactory end to the game. I'd be fuming if another side had done the same to the Vikings.

The Vikings won't get to the finals unless they can come up with a competitive scrum before next week. If they can't win their own scrum ball then they need to be challenging possession every time they make a tackle, but that doesn't seem to be the game plan. Minimal numbers at the breakdown to shore up the defensive line. But that just means they are chasing the ball for the majority of the game.

Mack Hansen a shining light in all games this year.
