Simone and Wright in the centres looks good. Would have liked to see Ikitau on the bench.

Front rows could be the Achilles Heel. Can anyone provide some insight into Kaihea, Simeon and Abra? Where's Tom Ross? Rest of the scrum is very strong.

Bo Abra plays for Easts in Sydney and was in our Under 20 RWC squad this year.

He got dusted up at scrum time in the Shute Shield a fair bit. Most kids that young do though.

Looking forward to playing these guys next week. Hopefully see some of those fringe wallabies back as well.

Don't get me wrong: love seeing the Box Hill boys in there. But this could be a shellacking.

The Rising definitely have the upper hand with their props - even the bench options are stronger than the Vikings contingent..........

The Vikings' back 5 forwards look scary good, and a strong backline too........... but the Vikings have been known to disappoint every other year, so we'll see.

Someone put the intern in charge of the media release apparently

Imagine if there was some kind of central organisation where each team submitted their team lists to and a nice, clean and uniform media release was able to then release that to the public. Heck, it would almost be a synergy of efforts.

Uh huh

While a lot of the discussion about the next Brumbies 10 has focussed on Kuenzle and Pasitoa, I've long thought that Lolesio is likely to have the inside running. How nice that we have the NRC to give both him and Kuenzle a good run.

That front row looks very green, but then it did a few years back when Harrison Lloyd was uncovered, and he dished up a lot of far more experienced opponents before being snaffled by the Force. In the words of Laurie Fisher: "Trust our systems".

Anyone know much of Semisi Tupou's time at inside centre? I thought he was more a winger although know he played some 13 for the Jnr Wallabies (not overly impressively in my eyes).

Would not have considered him a 12. Wasn't sure he had much of a kicking nor passing game. Anyone who knows him better care to comment?

Thats a absolutely horrible font I have enough problems with some of the names let alone writing it in some form of 90's high school graffiti font

Way back when he was signed in 2016 he was considered a centre, albeit from the 13 Jersey more than the 12. I couldn't tell you. He's been played at 10 sometimes on the occasions he's turned out for Box Hill over the last two years, but I can't comment on the performances at schools or club level beyond that.

Vikings dominant as expected. Dont understand why Melbourne arent better. Lack of depth or talent in their local comp maybe?

Watching from home the camera work is pretty average. Really disappointed to see the team selected not sure why we left so many Rebels players out. We should take this comp more seriously and select our best available side
