Toulouse win in a shoot out, yes you read that right. Draw at full time and no scores in 20 mon of extra time.

The way they do shoot outs has changed, 3 kickers per team. Six different kicking spots.

Hope you're not a Munster fan Kevin, that was a close one.

Feel for the Munster kickers, if Carberry or that young 22 got any of their kicks it would've been a different story.

Toulouse's forwards carried their team there. Toulouse really lack some penetration in their backs.

But my god that atmosphere was incredible.

Highlights of the match with the said kicking duel. BeIN sports is diabolical, have an automated editing thing which just gives you 2 hours and 10 minutes of the game regardless. So didn't have the 20 minutes of ET or the kicking duel.

I am a die hard Munster fan, my grandfather played for them.

Agree the forwards for Toulouse were there saving grace, if it wasn't for their scrum they would have had no chance.

Think alot of teams will look at how Munster shut down the French 9/10 combo and take notes.

Sorry about the loss, fantastic game though. Munster boys look like they have some real talent. Haven't watched one URC match, can they get over Leinster?
Nope, Leinster is a level above. Have some food talent coming through but a long way to go. Toulouse are lucky the game was in Dublin, in Limerick a game that tight would only go one way.

Jeez, looking at the crowd I don't know how much more of a home advantage Munster could get. Surely the fact that Toulouse pushed it that far in such hostile territory is a statement?

Munster has only lost 5 Heineken Cup games in Limerick over 25 years, their something special in the Limerick water because that record is unheard of.

Robbie Deans' Panasonic Wild Knights take on Kerevi's Suntory team in the Japanese Top League final this week.
In that match will be: Kerevi, Koroibete, Hockings, Dylan Riley, Semisi Tupou, Ben Gunter, Jack Cornelsen, Esei Ha'angana, Sam Talakai, Sean McMahon, Tevita Li ( what happened to this kid? He was meant to be the next NZ star), Damian McKenzie, Vince Aso, Lachlan Boshier and George Kruis and Hadleigh Parkes.

Not too shabby. Can't say I've actually watched much of it, has anyone here?

Also at the same time Israel Folau's team has lost their first leg of their relegation battle coached by Rob Penney, lol maybe he is just an awful coach? Winless at the tahs and gets relegated in Pokemon league with cheat code Mewtwo/Folau.

Skelton came back from a long injury break and played a few minutes last weekend.

This weekend he played the full 80 against Leinster in the champions Cup final. Putting in a fairly monstrous effort. Winning it against the firm favourites Leinster, he’s now won it with La Rochelle & Saracens. The bloke might be an alright player.

also Ronan O’Garas win as coach of La Rochelle over Sexton has produced this beautiful meme:

Top 14 (and the English Premiership) are into the finals this weekend.

Rather surprisingly, the quiet achievers Castres have topped the table without any superstars. Benefitted from not losing players during Six Nations.

Congratulations to Tom Staniforth who has been a gem for Castres, topping the tackle count for the entire league.

Cant wait! hoping big Will Skelton can do the double, although Dupont, Ntamack & Arnold will be bloody hard to stop

Watched a bits of a couple of games on weekend, have to say it still a very good standard of rugby played up there.

Worcester narrowly avoided having their home game cancelled, largely off the back of unpaid work by staff still waiting on wages:

Still looking very dicey for them, there has been talk of new owners but it's hard to tell how viable that really is from the outside.

Props to the social media team though, great team announcement without all the usual tools:
