Still dont like the format of a single thread for half the Super Rugby games!

Jaguares v Chiefs should be an absolute cracker!!

^^^^^^^^^^^^ given how little traffic the Sethfricken derbies will generate, it's more like 1/4 than 1/2 :) And of course you're right, Jaguares v Chiefs will be epic for all kinds of reasons but I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if this thread makes it to triple figures* hence my giving the "one stop shop" approach a go.

EDIT: * corresponding thread for Round 3 currently sits at 94 or ~19 per match...........

Yep, fair call, I get why. Its just frustrating if two different games start generating posts as the conversation becomes very fractured.

I am siting here typing this watching Toulon & Grenoble - which I would also happily chat about. I guess like most sports, many fans are very parochial and only interested in the club they follow with no real interest in the game if its played somewhere else!

Blackadder has made nine (!) changes, hope it doesn't come back to bite us on the arse, gotta respect the opposition & all that...........

I'm not worried about losing but we do have a history of playing poorly against poor opposition so I AM worried about us having to win ugly, failing to secure what should be a gimme BP & losing momentum ahead of the road trip.

That said there's some quality players coming in & id have had MMac there as a secondary first-receiver/ exit-kicker anyways.

Hoping for a 20+, BP win but would settle for fewer points (I can see PD being important in the overall NZ Conf standings) provided we hang onto that BP.

The miss from Joe Pietersen of the Shorks from basically in front against the Bulls that would have won the game has to be seen to be believed.

Important, confidence-building win ahead of the three-match road trip to Sethfricka & East Sethfricka. No apparent injuries (Sam W should probably be expecting a call from the match review official, tho) & Dagg, Fruean & Crotty due back within the next 4-5 weeks so well placed to make a mid-season charge for a playoffs spot.

Yep, as usual the 'Saders look to be building into the season nicely. They are notoriously slow out of the blocks but seem to have got going a bit earlier this year which should help with the trip round the world!
