I know this is hard to manage, but I'd love to see stats on how many high balls, under pressure, each fall back has caught and also how many times they were turned over in contact. These are key to being a good fullback.

For me it is between Hynes and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper). And they will probably both get time at FB this year. JOC (James O'Connor) is still a little young, and I'm not convinced FB is his best position.

Hynes and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) will both be in the starting side, and both deserve to be in the starting side. JOC (James O'Connor) deserves to be in the squad, but will be more effective off the bench at this stage.

Spook; the other area is how effective the fullback is at joining the attacking line. Hynes has been great running the ball back but hasn't yet learn how to join the line effectively (not that AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) can do it really well either sadly; sad fullback we had who was excellent at it was Latham). I am hoping that Hynes can improve in that regard a bit by the end of the season.

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is such a naturally great footballer and runner of the ball, but I just always feel that fullback is not his best position.

What I like about AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is the hardness he runs the ball back up field. He does a great job in getting the ball back in front of the forwards. Having a link man like Hynes only makes this even better. Some good OC in the country at the moment so I would like to see him remain at FB.

Apart from kicking, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s biggest issue, IMO is passing the ball. He isn't as good a link player as Hynes, and he will need to improve this for the Wallabies to be able to counter attack effectively against the Kiwis and Saffas. You can't just rely on strong running against those two.

Ash, interesting you mention Latham. Did you know that his two children are called Adam and Ashley and that his wife's maiden name is Cooper?

Good post Ash. I've seen AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) use the ball a lot better this year but would agree it hasn't been his best strength. I'd have both AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Hynes in my 15 though.
