Well won't be Smith or Schmidt I guarantee. Think the man we would like is tied to the Boks until 2027. I genuinely not sure if we need a replacement unless there is a very high standard replacement, a Brown or Andrew Goodman, who I think is also tied in until 27 at Ireland?

I feel like if there were off-field issues we'd have at least heard rumors by now, even if those issues were with others in the playing and/ or leadership group(s) rather than the staff but as far as I know there's been nothing, nada, zilch.

Yep, no whispers around are there WOB, and as you say in general they come out in NZ especially if you hang out around rugby.
I just think rightly or wrongly, the coaches don't see him as good enough? I would add I not for or against him, would of been quite happy if he got a run, but I would be a little surprised if he made the Pom team. They not short of quality loosies like Earl ,Pollock etc. Hell even Willis has seen writing on wall and headed off to France. Think Hoskins may just make himself available for Samoa?
