The rumour doing the rounds is that Braydon Ennor is in Wellington with the ABs

Just another Crusader.

Another wonderful message to the players at the other NZ franchises.....
Haha Kiwi, that's a rumour that hasn't reached the Naki yet. Mind you it's one of few that hasn't.

Non-Cantab AB's react to yet another rando from the
last-placed Cantabs being wheeled out of nowhere and
shoehorned into the squad:

Beauden. Can't believe there are people out there genuinely thinking he had a good game. I just saw the same telegraphed passing, same lazy midfield bombs, and another disorganised attack run by a 10 who is now looking substantially slower and was saved by individual play making from the likes of ALB, Clarke, and Jordan. Again, this primadonna best not be anywhere near Blues 10, or indeed the field.

Perenara. What he actual fuck. Should've been gone at half time. I did, however, enjoy how no one gave a damn when he left the field. Would've been a modern art moment if he'd been pulled immediately after that stupid quick tap disaster.

Cane. Old and slowly bumbling around the field trying to make the exact same type of upright tackles that cost a RWC and could typically only manage weak contact where he gets driven back or brushed aside. Could've had Papali'i out there chopping down carriers with low tackles as he'd been doing as a lynchpin of the Blues defence that dominated Super Rugby instead of mothering the old geezer to 100 caps for some bizarre pointless reason.

Havili. lol. lmao, even. Think that about covers it with the requisitve level of respect.

“And as I stand there, hands on hips, staring in disbelief at Barnes, Rieko Ioane still comes up to me and tells me, “Get back ten metres.”

“Huh?"

“Penalty,” he says. “Back ten.”

I always assumed Rieko's bantz/sledges didn't rise above the level of "you're a shit Ronan O'Gara" but the penalty back ten is c'est fantastique.

Meh, been happening for years & not only with France. Nations Cup might provide the incentive to end the shenanigans.
Not really. The Top 14 clubs still wield the power and the nation's cup runs the risk of being seen as a shitty tournament similar to the Nation's League cup in football.

Unless we get more money in the international games to cover the "lost" wages, French based players will always side with playing for their club.

Grace Steinmetz retiring from all rugby with immediate effect due to what she described on her socials as a brain injury. She's just 26 so far too young to be dealing with that kinda shit. :(

The perspective of a Crusaders fan around Robertson’s more controversial selections and omissions:

Havili - 29 already and too inconsistent.

Fihaki - wtf? Showed promise with Nz under 20’s but 4 years later
still waiting.

Reece - hot and cold.

Bell - Can’t throw to line out and has occasional brain farts, BUT young, dynamic, and with huge potential.

Barrett - Doesn’t inspire as captain. Prefer Ardie but not sure of his tactical nous.

Sotutu - Ordinary in past starts for ABs, but was young then and after stellar
season deserved another chance.

Papali’i - First pick at 7 if they persist with Savea at 8.

Akira - off to Japan at 29 and never nailed his chances with ABs.

Frustrated at not seeing more of Proctor and Narawa.

I still believe Robertson’s success at selecting, developing, and inspiring players will see us right for the WC.

With great joy I read that Fabian Holland is eligible for ABs and/or ABXV for EOYT! Thought it was next year.
Get him in there Razor!! I know I a fan boy of his but he got international lock written all over him, and quietly watching Lord yesterday, he seems to of filled out and looking the part now too!

DEADLY

Since Kaino the AB's have been piddling along with

?
Cane
Ardie

.....and hello, surprise surprise, their AB win % is complete dogshit. Yet GOD knows why the coaches refuse to look at anyone else. All this "warrior" talk of Sam Cane is shitting me blind. Far better players havent got a look in cos of this blokes undroppable tenured reign of mediocrity. "Oh, but he once had a good game against Ireland....."
