Super Rugby players that aren’t playing for the Wallabies at the time will be spread around the competition under a quota system.

Great idea for the NRC! Shame they couldn't have done this in club over the last few years - or even in future if cheika still lets non palying Waratahs come back to Shute shield!

I think randwick will have decent involvement with the country side. Think it was a bit far fetched to think we could stand alone but I don't think we are any worse or better off then if we hadn't tried. Even the biggest enemy of the wicks could concede that it has been a pretty good servant to Australian rugby over many years and it would be sad to see it die off

Easts Randwick and Souths should have formed a side but Randwicks ego took over and have been reading there own press.

I got on and applauded the new competition, only for T & F to immediately try and stick the boot in about randwicks limited involvement, id suggest he has been the one to try and make it personal?

Been no secret I haven't thought Randwick should stand alone, but seriously Pete, Coach and others have always been good and fair with discussions and contributions and pro the NRC. Much of what i read about Randwick standing alone was through the press.

What happened to Uni NSW are they still around with country?

I'm not endorsing the OPs side-swipe at Randwick, but it's just being a nark. Sniping at any club trying to be involved is weak.

removed, from original. disappointing to sink to that level. Far more interested in being positive about the attempts being made to bring our game back from the brink. Former Junior and opens player, randwick supporter for life but the state of the game in Australia trumps that.
