One of my top 5 favourite one liners in a post match interview - Sharpie after the Force's win over the Highlanders at the House of Pain earlier this year - in response to Jamie Joseph's comments earlier that week about Australian local derbie's:

"...I'm just happy that we were able to come out today and not play like schoolboys."

Farewell old fella.

You have brought us great pleasure.

He should have that framed and mounted on his wall. As is. Don't dare wash it. Ever.

Favourite Sharpe Moment.

When he ran on for this 100th Test Cap. A big up yours to those that nearly prevented him reaching that milestone at RWC 11.

Honourable Mention = Him scooping all the big awards at John Eales Medal Night this year.

Cheers for a wonderful Wallaby career Sharpie. All the best for the future and I am sure the family will love having Dad at home more often.

'Tis a great photo none the less, and worthy of a professionally posed/staged shot.

Should this Thread be renamed "Nathan Sharpe - Tribute"?

That was an Eales-esque send off from kefu Beale and what a way to finish - what a legend, a once in a generation player.

A deserving end to a great career. Sharpie is a champion bloke and the other guys obviously have great respect for him.

Well done champion.

What a great photo.

What a great team player Sharpie's been. The Wallabies without him in 2012 would have been in big trouble.

Glad he got the fairytale end he deserved.
