I hope the IRB etc are paying attention. This game has got a fair bit of attention.

Fristance. I sometimes lurk at the soccer web site F365. They are soccer mad, obviously. They have at least 9 pages on that game.

A fantastic advertisement for the game.

Yep big advertisement for bringing back proper midweek games and full tours.
They dont need to be the 16+ games of old, half that would be a great start.

I have railed on about this many times over the years at TSF and on hear. Next year I would love to see SANZAR block games together so that all Oz v NZ games are in NZ over a four week period (3 tests + 5 tour matches - mid week and JAB or Maori), Nz v SA in SA over the same period with the same stipulations and SA v Oz in Oz.All teams play the same number of games, extra games for provincial teams (and fans to attend - sure beats NSW v Samoa) which gives guys who may have missed Oz/Oz A selection another opportunity to push for EOYT selection by impressing against an international team.

It would be naive to suggest all touring sides games will end with the same kind of support etc.

This game was promoted for months by a side with a rabid supporter base.

Whilst a game between say the Tahs and Ireland is a great day, the crowd is stuff all.

Didn't the Wallabies do a haka for a while? circa 1910?

Yeah as did the Kangaroos, but only in the UK and that was back before the 60s I believe.
And for the RLWC curtain raiser a few weeks ago. Footage here.

" Better than Billy Idol " - Andrew Johns. Classic.
Seriously, good reply from the Indigenous team - hope those spears weren't too sharp though.

Have just watched the game. That one is a keeper.

I was hoping for the Irish commentary but I got the Kiwis, Nisbo and co. TJ was in full moan about the Irish players infringing whilst Kiwis were lying over the ball in plain view.

Both sides were as bad as each other, but I could see some injustice that Thomond78 felt when skipper MOD got penalised near the end, yet Brad Thorn had just come through from the side and didn't stay on his feet either, and didn't get pinged.

Then came the lineout, then a maul of all things and Joe Rock's try to win the game. No doubt a forensic examination of activities before all of Munsters points could reveal wickedness by them by a Kiwi CSI team, but that incident right at the end of the game must have been heart-breaking for the Munster crowd, given what happened later.

Not a bad result from the Munster men who had only 3-4 of their best 1st XV players in the 22 (depending on an opinion here or there) - yet Nisbo, who didn't do much homework on the Munster team, said that the Red Tide were without 6-7 of their very best players.

You should have said 11-12 Nisbo, which out of 15 is pretty significant..
