3. Beale - has developed into a confident test player with an all round game
2. Turner - tried hard all night, fantastic defender, almost picked up a try
1. Pocock - left everything out there on the field; Reffing decisions reduced his impact.

3 Beale
2 Mccalman

Turner really deserves some points too, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) good, not a lot else.

3 - Pocock (his defense is unreal and he was penalised unjustly out of this game)
2 - Beale
1 - Turner A real tight one to pick this. but Beale shades Turner with his ability to beat the man 1 or 2 on 1. Have a look JOC (James O'Connor) this is how you are supposed to play as a winger. Stay on your F&^%$# wing.

3 McCalman - played better than I thought he could
2 Beale - Great game, beat defenders and tackled well
1 Pocock - Great defence and go forward and of course a pest

3 Beale - Easily the best player on the field tonight.
2 McCalman - Got to find a spot in the team for this man when Palu comes back (could actually keep him out of the team)
1 Turner - Took his chance to impress and impress he did.

From the votes for Turner, it beggars belief that he was cast aside earlier in the season. He played how a winger really should.

3. Turner - not only was he excellent in everything he did, but he made VERY few errors that I can recall
2. Beale - the only real attacking spark, made a couple of errors but that's all part and parcel of his game. Loving it.
1. Pocock/McCalman - both worked hard all night. Pocock unlucky to be targeted by the ref. Both made many tackles and runs

^ The Old Boys Choir were heroic. Best anthem singing in a long time. Come back bigger, louder and prouder next year!

On a side note - they may be helped slightly by having a more even mix (volume-wise) between Williamson and the choir if they want to achieve that "large crowd of proud men" effect more strongly. Anyway, I love them.

3. Beale. Best on the park, better than McCaw who was very, very good.
2. Turner. Did everything right. Will Dingo ever learn to pick players in positions where they have already learnt how to play?
1. McCalman. Especially the first half, he's not Palu but he's the closest we've got and played well.

Honorable mentions to: Pocock, who got the short end of some decisions; AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper); Sharpie; Moore. Maafu was better this game, Robinson, Chisholm, JO'C were poor. Genia is too slow to get to rucks and Giteau is the same as he was after the England game. He needs a long rest to restore his skills and reawaken his hunger. That's three full internationals he has lost because his kicking is so poor. I don't care what his percentage success rate is, he can't put them over when the chips are down.
