I cannot see how anybody can pick Beale who continually kicked away the little ball the Tahs got in the second half with some very poorly executed kicks. Mumm dropped at least 5 balls from memory and got stripped twice by backs in the contact. Cross played solidly but was hardly outstanding throwing a very poor pass when the Tahs actually had an overlap with Pakalani.

Beale did make some very poor decisions but he is the only spark in the backline. In the first half he looked very dangerous with the ball, constantly broke the first tackle and put us on the front foot. Without him we would not have scored both tries.

Holmes made some dunderheaded choices, Beale was under too much kick return pressure and kicked back more than would normally. Ryan, cross, pakalani did well. Foley, tilse, mckibben strong backup. Ulugia's throwing didn't help

Foley's touchs (all 3 or 4 of them) looked pretty good. Get him to hang around for next year?

Gnostic, these threads are generally for voting, not critiquing others' votes.
The match thread is for discussion. Go for it.
And same for all that followed - not picking on you per se, but you started!!

3. Beale - creative spark, some great some less great
2. Robinson - seemed to me to do a lot of work, solid in the scrums
1. Pakalani - I love the way he tears into attack and defence

Could easily have gotten points too - Timani, Dennis, Douglas, Carter, Cross
