His ankle was dislocated to a 90' angle... you don't think there is serious ligament/tendon damage? Almost certain that's what his surgery would have been to repair.

Thats if he snapped the tendon which is pretty drastic and i didn't do that and mine was a high speed impact. I dare say the bone has been pinned.

It is completely realistic. If his recovery goes as planned and there are no complications from the surgery.

As long as he keeps focused and remains positive I can't see why not.

Let's hope so. Although coming back and being able to play is one thing, you'd think he'd be at risk of not having that same explosiveness and agility straight away

Serious dislocation doesn't necessarily mean soft tissue damage. I dislocated my knee at almost 90deg with no broken bones and I was fine in a month.

As nice as it would be for him to be back up and running before the WC, he's going to have lost a whole lot of s&c during the recovery period. There's a lot of rather relevant exercise that you can't do too well on one leg.
