What a rubbish game. Big shout out to Kaplan for yet again, ruining a game of rugby. I never saw the guy play an advantage, just stop things. To decide the game with a lightweight touch from Ma'afu is just a joke.

McCabe, Vaea, Coleman and Finger all played well. Gits had another mediocre game and To'omua unfortunately added nothing when he came on. Disappointing for the Brumbies, as much as it's great for Melbourne to win...the brumbies didn't need to hand away a game like it's charity.

How was that a rubbish game?!? Bloody hell. A fizzer.

Well done Melbourne.

Colby Fainga'a was great, only one who could find any space. I though Coleman was found out, the Prince of Queanbeyan title might be a bit premature.

Gerrard was fantastic, he could really make the wallabies depending on what sort of game plan they take to the world cup. Beale is a magician but if it ends up conservative rugby, Gerrard's kicking would be a huge asset.

Thought it was a great game too, given the short history of the Rebels.

Agree on Coleman. Seems a one-trick-pony (geddit :)) with his inside step. Having Giteau inside probably doesn't help though. To'omua at 10 and Giteau at 12 would be more balanced.

Yeah I love the punt he does...as Marto was saying...it's like Goalkeeperesque swing around.

Giteau needs to be shifted... He just can't manage the backline...

This week they finally bring To'omua on and put him at inside centre...

Anyways, the Brumbies forwards were generally good... But then their backs don't know what to do with the ball...

Congrats Rebel, well done.

I'm pissed off at the Brumbies, but not as much as I normally would be when they lose.

How can you not be happy for the Rebels?

Pissed off? Not as much as normally when they lose???? It doesn't get any lower!

I chose the Brumbies as my team when they started, being a Perth rugby boy not wanting to go with the establishment Tahs or Reds. I would fly to Canberra once a year to watch them. Since the Force, no need to fly anymore to watch my beloved game but have stayed loyal to the Brumby cause. I've been to every Force game and supported them except when they played the Brumbies.

Only 13000 Canberrans turned out to watch them last week. I'm away for my wife's birthday but managed to find a bar in Broome that had the rugby on. At the 49th minute we left, it was rubbish from the Brumbies and that re-start after they notched a penalty when we should have scored from the lineout just before, but never in my wildest dreams did I thing the Brums would lose. Gutted, devastated, wondering why not the Force???

thought that was gits best game in a while.

Brumbies really real are disgrace.

they don't commit anything to the break. the amount of times their is not half and no one winning the ball back is a crime.

Fark. Great game. As a long standing Rebel supporter (both games) it was great to get a win.
Great atmosphere. Took an AFL diehard to the game and he loved it.
Perth shouild never have been given the francgise a few years back. Sorry Farce supporters but that is the truth.

Phibbs shouldn't be in the team next week after those stupid grubber kicks...

I actually can't see where Hoiles is going to fit in... Vaea was sensational for the Brumbies...

What a great game (for the result and the Rebels defence) so early on in the season. Hopefully tomorrow's game lives up to it but I think the Reds may be in trouble.

Atmosphere was absolutely outstanding! Best at any rugby game I've been to in Australia. Did not mind in the slightest being drenched by Gareth Delve's sweat after the match. How did it come across on tv?
